How to Use the OmeTV Video Chat App on Anroid

OmeTV is a random chat app that lets you chat with people from all over the world. Available for Android and iPhone (iOS), apart from the web version, the app offers a chat platform similar to Omegle chat, although there is no link between the two companies.

Tens of thousands of people are always connected to the service, which makes starting new conversations guaranteed. Apart from a practical and lightweight application, all functions are free. See below how to use OmeTV on your phone.

Step 1. Download and install OmeTV on your phone. After opening it for the first time, confirm the permissions the app asks for;

Step 2. On the main application screen, you can enter your country and gender. To change, click on the item and select the desired option;

Step 3. After editing your data it is a good idea to check the chat rules, as not complying with them can result in your access being blocked. To find it, click on the “Settings” icon at the top corner of the app's home screen. Then select the option "Chat rules";

Step 4. After reading the chat rules, you can now chat with your new friend. On the main screen of the application, slide your finger left to search for users. While the search is in progress, you will see the top of the screen without definition. Once a chat partner is found, the text at the bottom will show the person's country and the message “Connection made”;

Step 5. If you want to send a written message, click the balloon icon with three dots in the lower corner of the screen. The phone keyboard will automatically take up half the screen, and you will be able to type short messages;

Step 6. When you exchange a written message with your chat partner, the message is recorded on the conversation screen. Messages take up less space on the screen, and are deleted when new emojis or text are sent. It is impossible to recover messages after they are lost;

Step 7. If you find someone whose behavior on camera does not comply with the application rules, you can report abuse. To do this, select the little red flag icon present at the top corner of the chat screen. When you click this icon, a new screen will appear, asking you to confirm your wish to report abuse. To confirm, click "Yes".
